Question from Selena, a student: The distance from the park to the pool is the same distance as the distance from your house to school. The school is between the pool and your house. Prove that the distance from the park to the school is the same distance from the pool to your house. |
Selena: There is something very important missing from this problem. Was there a map or picture with it? Otherwise, even if they lie in a straight line the distances need not be the same.
