Stewart, Each week you will have 7 two person teams. There are 91 possible teams, so it will take 13 weeks. You can put the teams together like this: Number the golfers 0, 1, 2, ..., 12, and then X. To get the each subsequent week, add 1 to every player number except X, and wrap 12 + 1 around to 0, like an odometer. If you do that then and so on. You don't ask anything about how the players are arranged in groups. To go 4-4-4-2 you can just form groups out of the teams. To go 4-4-3-3 you will need to break up one pair each week, and then reember to pich them up on a later week. That will make the schedule a few weeks longer. --Victoria | ||||||||||||
