



 
Stewart, Each week you will have 7 two person teams. There are 91 possible teams, so it will take 13 weeks. You can put the teams together like this: Number the golfers 0, 1, 2, ..., 12, and then X. To get the each subsequent week, add 1 to every player number except X, and wrap 12 + 1 around to 0, like an odometer. If you do that then and so on. You don't ask anything about how the players are arranged in groups. To go 4442 you can just form groups out of the teams. To go 4433 you will need to break up one pair each week, and then reember to pich them up on a later week. That will make the schedule a few weeks longer. Victoria
