Question from Veronica, a parent:

The perimeter of a square piece of land is twice the perimeter of an equilateral triangular lot, if one side of the square is 60 meters, find the length of a side of the triangle.

Hi Veronica,

If each side of the square is 60 meters what is its perimeter? What is half its perimeter? That is the perimeter of the equilateral triangle.
