Question from arthur, a student:

sin(x-1)/x^+x-2

Hi Arthur,

The subject line of your email was "limits" but you didn't state a limit. I think the problem is to evaluate

\[\lim_{x \rightarrow 1} \left( \sin{\frac{x-1}{x^2 + x - 2}} \right) .\]

Factor the denominator of the fraction and simplify. Now can you evaluate the limit?

Penny
