Question from Cassidy, a student:

How do you find the radius of a sphere that has volume 36pI?

Hi Cassidy,

The volume of a sphere of radius $r$ units is $\frac43 \pi \; r^3$ cubic units. Your cube has a volume of $36 \pi$ cubic units and hence $\frac43 \pi \; r^3 = 36 \pi.$ solve for $r.$
