You didn't ask a question but I assume the question is how much did the trip cost?
Mary paid one third of the cost and Julie paid half of what Mary paid. What is 1/2 of 1/3? Together Mary and Julie paid 1/3 plus 1/2 of 1/3? What fraction of the trip is that? Peter paid the rest. What fraction of the trip did Peter pay for? What was the total cost of the trip?
