Question from Fred:

LJ owned two dogs that weighed a total of 140 pounds. If one dog weighed 10 pounds more than the other, how much did each dog weigh?

Hi Fred,

Suppose the problem had read

LJ owned two dogs that weighed a total of 140 pounds. If the two dogs weighed the same amount, how much did each dog weigh?

How much would the weights have to move so that one weighs 10 pounds more than the other and yet the total weight remains at 140 pounds?
