Question from Owen, a student: nicolas room is 56m2 she wants to put tiles down which are 50cm by 50cm each cost £4 how much money will she spend |
Hi Owen,
50 cm is half a meter so each tile has an area of $\frac12 \times \frac12 = \frac14$ of a square meter. How many will it take to cover 56 square meters?
