Question from Ashley, a student: (4x-4+6x^3-x^2)/(3x-2) The instructions say to "perform the division". |
Hi Ashley,
I would first rearrange the terms in the numerator to write it
\[4x - 4 + 6x^3 - x^2 = 6x^3 - x^2 + 4x - 4.\]
Now perform long division as outlined in our response to an earlier question.
