Hi Chinmay, You didn't ask a question but I think you want to solve $x^3-2x^2-7x+5 = 0.$ I first looked for an easy solution by trying $x = 0, \pm 1, \pm 2,\pm3$ but none of these worked. My next step was to use Wolfram Alpha. I typed solve x^3-2x^2-7x+5 = 0 into the Wolfram Alpha window and found solutions. If you want to solve the equation yourself you can use the method described in an answer to an earlier question. I hope this helps, | |||||||||||||||
