Hi Diann,
The total ages of the 10 children is 110 so the average is 11. Thus I know that they are around 11 years old. Suppose there are only two children, their ages are 2 years apart and their average age is 11. How old are the children?
Now suppose there are only four children, their ages are 2 years apart and their average age is 11. How old are the children?
