Question from Jasper, a student:

There are 600 pupils in a school. The ratio of the boys to girls in the school is 3:5 how many girls and how many boys are in the school

Hi Jasper,

Since the ratio of boys to girls is 3:5 you can arrange the 600 students in groups of 8 where in each group 3 are boys and 5 are girls. How many groups are there? How many girls are there?
