Question from Jufe, a student: What is the exponential form of ³√11x²

Hi Jufe,

I assume this is

$\sqrt[3]11 x^2$

and not

$\sqrt[3]{11 x^2}.$

In any case I expect you are to use the notational convention that

$\sqrt[3]{a} = a^\frac1{3}.$
