Question from Michael: What is the fraction of 5/8 of 16 |
Hi Michael,
If you have 16 identical items and you put them in 8, equal sized groups then each group has 2 items. Thus one eighth of 16 is 2. Thus five eights of 16 is $5 \times 2 = 10.$
