Question from priya, a student: I have problem in solving these equations please help me today itself very urgent: |
Hi Priya,
I assume these are two equations that you are to solve together to obtain values of $x$ and $y.$ What I would call a linear system or sometimes simultaneous equations.
I can help get you started. What I would do first is to add $-y$ to both sides of the first equation and then solve the resulting equation for $x.$
