Hi Ranjan, There are many different rectangles you can make from 100 cm of wire. it could be 30 cm by 20 cm, 40 cm by 10 cm, 49 cm by 1 cm, or many other dimensions. It could even be 30.3 cm by 19.7 cm, there is no reason the dimensions have to be integers. Each of these rectangles have a different area, you should calculate them. The length of the wire alone is not enough information to determine the area. Penny | |||||||||||||||
