Question from Debbie: If 2 sides of a 1 acre plot is 300 feet each what are the other 2 sides? The acre is a rectangle. |
Hi Debbie,
First of all you need to know how many square feet are in an acre. You can use Google for this, just type 1 acre in square feet into the Google search window to find the answer.
Suppose the rectangle is $x$ feet wide then the area is $300 \times x$ square feet. But Google has told you the area in square feet so you can solve for $x.$
