 Question from Duiren: sin x/ 1+cos x = 1-cos x/ sin x

You didn't send any instructions but in any case with the expression

$\frac{\sin x}{1 + \cos x} = \frac{1 - \cos x}{\sin x}$

I would first eliminate the fractions. First multiply each side by $\sin x$ and then multiply each side by $1 + \cos x.$
