Hi Estela, Exponential form means any form involving exponents so there are many correct answers to this. For example suppose the expression were $20 \times 100.$ Since $20 = 2 \times 10$ and $100 = 10 \times 10$ you could write this as \[20 \times 100 = 2 \times 10 \times 10 \times 10 = 2 \times 10^{3}.\] But $10 = 2 \times 5$ so you could also write \[20 \times 100 = 2 \times 2 \times 5 \times \left( 2 \times 5\right)^2 = 2^2 \times 5 \times 2^2 \times 5^2 = 2^4 \times 5^{3}.\] Penny | ||||||||||||
