Question from shrestha, a parent: Two concentric circles have radii of 14 cm and 7 cm respectively. Find the area of space between them. |
Hi,
I drew a diagram of what you described.
What is the area of the large circle? Now cut a hole in the circle where the hole is a circle with the same center as the larger circle but with a radius of 7 cm. What is the area of the circle you removed? What is the area of the region remaining, the green region in my diagram?
