Question from SM:

The measure of angle A is 60 degrees more than its complement. Find the measure of angle A.

Hi,

Do you know how the complement of an angle is defined?

If two angles have measures $x$ degrees and $y$ degrees and they are complements then $x + y = 90$ degrees. If $y$ is 60 degrees more than $x$ what is $x?$

Make sure you verify your answer.

Penny
