Question from Twaha: Please find the equation of the sequence 1 2 4 7 11 16 22 |
Hi,
One of the first techniques to try when attempting to understand a sequence is called Successive Differences. That is you look at the difference between successive terms. For your sequence the successive differences are
2 - 1 = 1
4 - 2 = 2
7 - 4 = 3
11 - 7 = 4
and so on. Does this help?
