Question from Hannah: I do not understand it...... What is the scale factor for 9 centimeters = 1 meter |
HI Hannah,
1 meter is 100 centimeters so you want a scale that will take 9 centimeters to 100 centimeters. Since
\[9 \times \frac{100}{9} = 100\]
the scale factor is $\large \frac{100}{9}.$
