I object to the term "THE exponential form" as an exponential form is any form involving exponents. $\sqrt{15}$ can be written \[15^{1/2}\] so I can write \[3 \sqrt{15} = 3^1 \times 15^{1/2} = 3^1 \times (3 \times 5)^{1/2} = 3^1 \times 3^{1/2} \times 5^{1/2} = 3^{3/2} \times 5^{1/2}.\] Each of these is in exponential form,
