Which movie lasts longer than the other?
A) “space adventure” lasts for 1 2/3 hour
B) “animal world” lasts for 15/12 hour

Hi,

I would write the improper fraction $\frac{15}{12}$ as a mixed number

\[\frac{15}{12} = \frac{12 + 3}{12} = \frac{12}{12} + \frac{3}{12} = 1 \frac{1}{4}.\]

This A is one and two thirds and B is 1 and a quarter. Which is larger two thirds or one quarter?
