Question from dhanendra:

A plot reserved for playground in the ratio of length and breath 11:4 gram panchayt spends rupees 45000 for boundary at the rate of 100 per m. Find the dimensions of the plot.

I can help you get started.

First of all the boundary cost rupees 45000 at the rate of rupees 100 per meter. How many meters is the boundary?

Suppose the boundary is composed of 1 meter long sections of material. Since $11 + 4 = 15$ you can arrange the sections in piles of 15 sections each where 11 of the 15 are to be used for the length and 4 of the 15 are to be used for the breadth. Each pile has 15 meters of material. How many piles are there?
