Question from Eke: When 150 litres has been drawn from a tank, it is 3/8 full, how many litres will the tank hold? |
Hi,
I assume the tank was full when you started. After you drew off 150 litres the tank was 3/8 full. What fraction of the tank did you draw off? That fraction of the tank is 150 litres. How many litres are there in 1/8 of the tank? How many litres are there in 8/8 of the tank?
