Question from Isaebl:

what is the exponential form of sqrt(13)

Hi Isaebl,

The exponential notation for $\sqrt{13}$ is $13^{1/2}$ and the notation for the cube root of 13 is $\sqrt[3]{13}$ or $13^{1/3}.$ In fact for any positive integer $n$ the $n^{th}$ root of 13 is $\sqrt[n]{13}$ or $13^{1/n}.$

I hope this helps,
Penny
