Hi Nina,
I would first convert $253_6$ to base ten and then convert this base ten number to base three.
\[253_6 = 2 \times 6^2 + 5 \times 6^1 + 3 \times 6^0 = 72 + 30 + 3 = 105.\]
Can you now convert 105 to base three?
