Question from Fify:

If it takes 8 men to build a house in 450 days. How many men would it take to build the house in 365 days? Is there a specific method to calculate this please?

Hi,

If it takes 8 men to build a house in 450 days then 1 man can build aa house in $\large \frac{450}{8} \normalsize = 56.25$ days. How many 56.25 day periods are there in 365 days? that would be $\large \frac{365}{56.25} \normalsize = 6.48.$ This about six and a half men can build a house in 365 days.

I hope this helps,
Penny
