I am looking for some resources for teaching Roman Numerals. I would like to expand upon the basic concepts, by locating some addition, subtraction, multiplication or division problems written with Roman Numerals.

The best resource that I have seen is
Arithmetic with Roman Numerals, James G. Kennedy, American Math. Monthly 88:1 (Jan. 1981) 29-32.
To quote from the first paragraph "...the Roman system incorporates features permitting algorithms that make the multiplication and division even easier than in our place value decimal system, as will be demonstrated here."
Cheers,
Chris
