My son [age 9, 4th grade] has a math problem with factors. I need to know how to do the problem that involves the factor 24. I'm not even sure where to start. ThankYou Pam[Mother] Hi Pam,Factors of the number 24 are numbers which, when multiplied together, give 24. Hence 4 and 6 are factors of 24 since 4x6 = 24. Likewise 1 and 24 are factors of 24. If the question is to list all the factors of 24 then you have 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, and 24. Harley
