In a 1998 survey, 21% polled responded favorably to a question. In 1999, 31% responded favorably. What is the percent of improvement? Here you want the improvement, 31% - 21% =10%, relative to where you started in 1998, that is 21%. 10/21 = 0.476 so the percentage improvement is 47.6%. I hope this helps,Harley |
