• "Scavenger Hunt" worksheets
  
  
• Pencil
  
  
• Group Assessment form
  
  

Form a group of four people.

• Each group member takes a "Scavenger Hunt" worksheet.
  
  
• As a group you move about the classroom looking for objects to match the solids on your sheet.
  
  
• Find more than one object for each solid on the sheet.
  
  
• You can even look out a window or even picture an object not in the room that would fit one of the shapes.
  
  
• Record the solid you find by drawing it on the paper and describing what it is.
  
  
• When you are done put the worksheet in your portfolio.
  
  
• Fill in one of the group sheets on how well the group worked together and put it in the teacherÕs folder.
