Geometry Activities: Assessment

Throughout the activities there are various forms of assessments that the teacher and student do. One of the main assessments is the evaluation of work that is put in each student's portfolio. The student work that is put in the portfolios will be evaluated by the teacher using the "Portfolio Assessment of Activities" evaluation form. The form adapts to each activity so the teacher can give the students an evaluation based on the objectives.

The anecdotal record form will be used for the activities when the teacher is just observing.

There are a few activities that have performance assessments. These performance assessments are made specifically for the activities and will be included with the specific activity they are designed for.

There is one group evaluation done by the students. It will be provided with the activity that requires it.

Finally when students write their "I learned ..." statements they will do it in a math journal that they will already have.
