In the Spring of 1997 we received a number of messages from grade 8 students at Truro Junior High School in Truro, Nova Scotia. The figures are as follows. Donovan takes 2.4 seconds to reach 10m. After that he stays constant and he does the 100m in 9.84 seconds. Michael Johnson takes 2.8 seconds to reach 11 m.
