I would like to convert 2700 square feet into square meters. Can you please help?

Hi,

The factor that I remember for converting lengths between the metric system and the Imperial system is that there are 2.54 centimeters in 1 inch. Thus

1 ft = 12 in = 12 2.54 = 30.48 cm

There are 100 centimeters in an inch so

1 ft = ^30.48/₁₀₀ m = 0.3048 m

But 1 square foot is 1 foot by 1 foot and hence

1 sq ft = 1 ft 1 ft = 0.3048 m 0.3048 m = 0.09290304 sq meters

Finally

2700 sq ft = 2700 0.09290304 = 250.84 sq meters
