I live in Hammond, Indiana [USA}] and wonder how much is ONE MILLION TIMES ONE BILLION in the American system ???
Is it one quadrillion ? [1,000,000,000,000,000]

One billion is 1,000,000,000, that is one followed by 9 zeros.
Thus one million times one billion is
1,000,000,000000,000
one followed by 9 + 6 = 15 zeros. This is one quadrillion.
