Question from vince, a student:

If you have 5 tests and the grades are 78,80,88,60,75 what is your Earn Point
for the tests

earn points= average times percent

So far I calculated 78+80+88+60+75=381

381 times 20%

If your homework grade is only 15% of the total grades and with an average
homework grade of 90%, what is your earn point for the homework

If your project is 5% of the total grades, and you scored 88 and 100 on two
projects what is your earn point

Tests is 60%
Homework and Project is 20%
Final Exam is 20%
Total is 100%

Hi Vince,

If you have 5 tests and the grades are 78,80,88,60,75 what is your Earn Point
for the tests

earn points= average times percent

So far I calculated 78+80+88+60+75=381

381 times 20%

You were told to use average times percent and you have the total of the grades (381). You need to find the average first and then multiply by 0.20

If your homework grade is only 15% of the total grades and with an average
homework grade of 90%, what is your earn point for the homework

Sue answered this question for you a couple of days ago.

If your project is 5% of the total grades, and you scored 88 and 100 on two
projects what is your earn point

Use the same technique that Sue used for the homework grades.
