Hi Carolyn, The response I gave to your last question contains enough information to allow you to develop a technique to divide a line segment into three congruent parts. For your second question take two points A and B on the arc and draw the chord AB. Construct the right bisector of the line segment AB. The centre of the circle must be on this line. Do you see why?
