Question from Mark: I am trying to find a way to calculate the radius of a curve if only given the Sagitta length and the Arc length...is there an easy formula for this? |
Hi Mark,
You can write an expression for the radius r but unfortunately this equation can not be solved algebraically, the best you can do is approximate r. Look at the response Stephen and I gave to Ned.
