Question from Alan, a teacher: i have 13 golfers playing 5 rounds. want everyone to play together at least once. |
Alan,
There was a similar question just yesterday from James. Can you have a look at that one? It turns out that if the groups have size 3, 3, 3, and 4, then over four rounds every pair of players can be together exactly once. The best you can do, then, is to use that schedule and add the fifth day any way you want.
