Question from Clare: I am leading a group of 8 golfers who will be playing 11 rounds each at the end of next month and have been tasked with coming up with a schedule that allows, as close as possible, that has everyone playing an equal number of rounds with each other. Do you have any suggestions? |
Hi Clare,
If you do a search of our archives for golf 8 you will find a number of schedules for 8 golfers but none of them for 11 rounds. I suggest you look in particular at the response by Victoria for an 8 round schedule. In it you will find a balanced schedule for 7 rounds. My suggestion is that you use this schedule for 7 rounds and repeat 4 of the rounds to complete an 11 round schedule.
