Hi Emily, I have two suggestions. The first is to write the repeating decimal to at least 3 repeats and then use long division or your calculator to do the division. The result should be a repeating decimal. The second suggestion is to write the repeating decimal as a rational number in fractional form. Here is an example, and another. Now yo have a fraction divided by a whole number. Write this in fractional form or as a decimal, which will be repeating. Penny |
