  1. For any natural number n > 1, prove that

    (4n) / (n + 1) < [(2n)!] / [(n!)2].

  2. For any natural number n > 1, prove that

    1/sqrt(1) + 1/sqrt(2) + 1/sqrt(3) + ... + 1/sqrt(n) > sqrt(n).

  3. For any natural number n and any x > 0, prove that

    xn + xn - 2 + xn - 4 + ... + x-n >= n + 1.
