From Matt: I am trying to determine the dimensions of a 22 megapixel digital camera chip that has a 3:2 ratio. We know then, that: 3x = 2y (or 1.5x = y)
and that
xy = 22
Beyond this, I don't know how to hook those 2 seemingly unrelated facts together. Answered by Penny Nom. |

From Christie: Sesame Street on Stage has different ticket prices for adults and for children under 6. Beth and her two children, ages 3 and 4, paid $15 to gain entrance, while Jamie and John Jacobs and their 2-year old daughter got in for $19.50. What is the ticket price for adults?
