What is the probability of passing if: a. You go into the exam without knowing a thing, and have to resort to pure guessing? b. You have studied enough so that on each question, 3 choices can be eliminated. But then you have to make a pure guess between the remaining 2 choices. c. Parents have been ask to assist for this part. I was therfore hoping for a little "inside" help on several questions with answers & short explanations. 		From Jim: at a high school 350 students took the math A exam. 82% passed the test. 40 students that failed the exam in june, took the exam in August. 70% of this group passed the August test. We have been instructed to include such terms as: axis of symmetry, completing the square, parabola, quadratic formula, standard form (vertex form) and vertex.
