From Janet: You hockey fans will love this question. I am making a Stanley Cup halloween costume and need a flat pattern for the bowl portion. I believe a truncated cone will work nicely. I know this involves implicit differentiation somehow, but the 3 variables, since V=l*w*h for a rectangle is confusing me.
